A patient was taken to hospital this morning (Friday, August 7) after an emergency response at Tavistock College.

The Devon Air Ambulance, a paramedic car and ambulance attended the college at about 9.30am. It is believed a male contractor working at the college was taken to Derriford Hospital by road after treatment by paramedics.

The helicopter landed in the school grounds and its paramedic crew joined their land ambulance colleagues in assessing the the patient.
