Tidy Tavi, a local group committed to battling littering and rubbish dumping in Tavistock, is on the hunt for new volunteers.

There is no need to register, sign up or commit to anything.

All volunteers need to do to make a positive impact is turn up outside the Meadowlands Leisure Centre at 10am on the first Saturday of the month and meet the rest of the friendly team.

Families are especially welcome; the young ones in the group love the mini litterpickers.

All the necessary equipment will be supplied but the group recommends that volunteers wear stout footwear and gloves.
