New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of West Devon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Malthouse Bar & Yard Bar & Kitchen, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at The Malthouse, Drake Road, Tavistock was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 9.

And Mj"s burger bar, a takeaway at Pitts Cleave Quarry, Pitts Cleave Industrial Estate, Tavistock was also given a score of five on May 29.
