A HISTORIC building in Tavistock will be shown off on a Channel 5 programme in which people vote for their favourite holiday home.

Fitzford Gate House will appear on Holiday Homes in the Sun at 12.45pm tomorrow (Friday) on Channel 5.

The historic house has been lovingly restored by owners Liz Aldridge and Steve Hanger, who live in nearby Bere Alston. The show, which has been put together by Raise the Roof Productions, sees four properties shown in each episode. ‘It is a gentle competition, but it is a competition,’ said Liz, who has not seen the episode in advance.
