Police say raiders made off with valuable tools after breaking into a business on Tavistock’s Westbridge industrial estate.

A spokesman said it was a ‘high value’ theft, committed some time between 11pm and midnight on November 11. Keys to vehicles were also taken resulting in the theft of tools and power tools from the vehicles, as well as one vehicle being taken.

If anyone has any information that may be relevant or they are offered tools that may be stolen, they are asked to contact 101 quoting the above crime reference number CR/098124/21.

Tavistock police are investigating a series of criminal damage attacks in the area of the Co-op store in Brook Lane.

The latest happened between 8.45pm on November 12 and 5am, said a town police spokesman, who added that the doors are accessed from the multi-storey car park and it was not the first report of damage the police have in this car park.

Officers asked anyone with information on the incident to contact them on 101 quoting crime reference number CR/09911/21.

The spokesman said officers police will be patrolling in the area to try and reduce these incidents and called on anyone who witnessed offences in future to report them to the police.
